Happy belated birthday, Pen, who celebrated earlier this week in the best way possible by slicing open poor Cinnamon Bun, thanks to our pals Lisa and Mary at Big Sugar Bakeshop in nearby Studio City. Who knew Cinnamon Bun’s guts were all rainbow colored?

Banana Guard Academy Finale

Kent Osborne and Mad Rupert’s Banana Guard Academy series from kaboom! wraps up its six-issue arc with the release of today’s No. 6, available at your nearby quality comic book store or BOOM!’s online shop.

In this sixth and final issue, the terrible evil threatening Candy Kingdom will finally be released into Ooo, knocking the Banana Guards out of commission! It’s up to our favorite group of rag-tag cadets to save the day and hopefully get the opportunity to graduate.

Banana Guard Academy #5

The fifth of six issues of this Adventure Time spin-off is out today. Let’s give thanks to the smart and attractive creative team behind this A+ mini-series.

Kent Osborne and Dylan Haggerty wrote it, and Mad Rupert made the illustrations. Colors are by Whitney Cogar, letters by Leigh Luna.

Jillian Crab was the designer, Whitney Leopard attended to the assistant editing, while Shannon Watters was the editor.
